Off by one character = useless
Quite fast when you start typing a word, but when I downloaded it just now, it would land me in the previous letter of the Greek alphabet. Bravolol Gr-Eng dictionary does work.
Greek to English not working or is it me?
I downloaded this dictionary to help me translate software source code written by a Greek programmer who has written comments in the code in Greek (using Western characters). The mapping from Western letters to Greek seems quite straight forward, and this dictionary’s keyboard allows me to easily type what I see into the Greek Alphabet. Very nice. However….
None of the Greek words I’ve entered thus far have been found in the dictionary. I was able to guess at a word, spelled “aytomato” which I guessed to mean “automatic”. I entered “automatic” in the dictionary, which it found, and which translated into “aytomato” (using the Greek alphabet). The Greek word which I had entered into the dictionary was precisely what I had entered but the dictionary did not find.
Am I doing something wrong, or is the dictionary not working in the Greek-English direction? Unfortunately, the developer website does not allow me to get help directly from them.
I hope they read these comments and fix the problem.
